Our playful and inclusive methodologies and activities are tried, tested and proven to spark joy and creativity in many, many contexts! We are known for delivering memorable creative experiences with a focus on process over product - people over plants!! Inspiring everyday creativity and activating the mental health benefits of drawing are central to our mission, so naturally many enlist us to be part of their wellbeing programme. Our Founder Dulcie Ball’s book The Art of Self-Love supports our work in this area.

where we work
From hospitals and libraries, to craft fairs and conferences - our work is flexible and suitable for all ages and abilities. We can work to any theme, occasion or brief - across London and the surrounding areas, and beyond. We require minimal equipment and create no mess, so we really can pop-up anywhere!

A Social Sketchup is a fun and inclusive creative session that uses playful portrait-sketching as a catalyst to connect, uplift and empower people of all abilities. We deliver them in workplaces, at away days, conferences, festivals and more!
We’ve delivered hundreds of Social Sketchups over the past 5 years, for clients ranging from The Design Council to Happy Place Festival! It’s a levelling and liberating experience that creates space for people to chat and interact in a unique and memorable way - generating lots of fun artwork and laughter as they go! Think speed networking/dating without the awkward silences!

Looking for a unique way to delight party guests, create some in-store buzz or engage visitors at a special event? Our live portrait Artists have got you covered! We tend to work in pairs, so that each person gets to experience the magic of seeing themselves interpreted in different ways. Portraits will be drawn on our signature mini cards (A7) and we can even customise and add your branding/event details on the back of them if you’d like us to. We’ll bring the fun - you bring the faces!
